(CBD) In case you missed it in December: the new Global Biodiversity Framework 🌳 adopted by world leaders at COP15 in Montreal includes requiring "large and transnational companies and financial institutions to monitor, assess, and transparently disclose their risks, dependencies and impacts on biodiversity through their operations, supply and value chains and portfolios"
4. (GreenBiz) Scary to look at this database and compare to product labels 😳...Pharos Project has compiled a chemicals database that outlines known chemical toxicity endpoints for over 146,000 chemicals

7. (Just Capital) Women 👩, for the first time, held 32% of board seats in the S&P 500 as of November 2022
8. (The Guardian) Want to get an order of fries without the waste 🍟? You can in France thanks to a new ban on single-use tableware as of Jan. 1 for restaurants with more than 20 seats
9. (NYTimes) Can a public awareness campaign on food waste actually enable behavior change? In a Central Ohio suburb, an encouraging program emphasizing the cost to the consumer led to an estimated 20 percent reduction in food waste 🍝. “The way to really get people’s attention in the Midwest and Ohio is through pocketbook issues”
