Starbucks-Tesco reusable packaging case studies, plant-based eggs🥚, Climate Creators to watch👀, GM EV education and+

Hi 🖐,
It was Valentine’s Day 💝 last week so naturally I made a visit to a sustainable cocoa farm in Chuao, Venezuela, to see where chocolate comes from 🕵️♀️ and how they make it sustainable. I will be sharing an article on the visit and on Chuao, one of the most enchanting places I have ever been to. In the meantime, this week we have case studies and examples of packaging reuse programs from Starbucks and Tesco, plant-based eggs, a list of Climate Creators to watch (and to partner with?), electric vehicle education and when they cross the threshold of just being marginally better than traditional cars, a report on how environmental risks rank among all global risks from our friends at World Economic Forum 😉, and more. Here are The Green Tea's Top 10 actionable, innovation, and hot sustainability stories this week! 👇
2. (Tesco)(Report) Tesco’s in-store reusable packaging trials with Loop ➰ concluded that “shared distribution, cleaning and refilling services could help deliver scale and cost-effectiveness more quickly than any single retailer can”
3. (Just Egg) Plant-based egg 🍳 alternatives from startups like Just Egg, Zero Egg and the Every Company are now in the market. Just Egg has been the most vocal of them.
Enjoy and reflect 💭. Warm regards / saludos, Julio
